Yin Yoga is passive but challenging – benefits include increased focus; reduced stress + anxiety; opening connective tissue and fascia of the body to add circulation, flexibility and mobility. We hold a variations of seated and supine poses for 5+ minutes each. Come exactly as you are! Bring two blocks or one large towel. Coming to you from my living room and tiny corner-of-the-world, at-home ‘studio’ (thank you very much COVID-19). These are down-to-earth, creative flows, with explorative cuing so you can find each pose in your unique body. No need to be picture perfect or cookie cutter here! Take what you need, leave the rest. Classes are not over edited – you’ll feel like you are there in person as I shout out alignment cues to students by name, talk/wave to people’s pets and children, and play with my cats Loki + Tars – who make very regular appearances.
