Soon after moving to New York City in 1993 to pursue her dance career, Kristin's friend dragged her to her first yoga class at the old Jivamukti Yoga School. While she had absolutely no idea what anyone was talking about she immediately fell in love with the poetry of meditation in movement. Kristin studied voraciously for many years and hungrily went to every workshop and studied with every teacher that passed through town. After taking many different Yoga teacher training programs and becoming a licensed massage therapist she began to see connections between the physical and energetic anatomies and started to realize that the closer you look at anything whether it’s the thymus gland, a Sanskrit word or a Yoga Asana you can’t help but be in awe!
Studying with many different lineages helped Kristin to dive really deep into various systems of Yoga but also allowed her to see that a dogmatic unyeilding approach would not be her path as a teacher. No two bodies are alike and cookie-cutter postures, theories, practices, alignment or verbal cues would just not work for the majority of students that she was seeing. Her own practice and teaching continues to evolve but currently leans towards the subtle exploration of breath, movement, energy, mind, questioning, listening, patterns, purpose and potential.
These days you can find Kristin in her new home in London, England writing books, studying in a nearby park full of swans - teaching virtually and producing offerings in my faux fur lined-plant and bone filled home yoga studio.

Hailing from New York, Dani is a dancing, outdoor-loving, bread-baking yogini. She has spent many years studying the body both intrinsically through dance and yoga, and scientifically through anatomy, physiology, and neuroscience. This research has led her to understand the body and the mind are inherently linked. Thus, through Dani's work she seeks to help others find this internal connection through movement. Dani specializes in creative, yet mindful sequencing and strength building that is grounded in anatomy and physiology. Her class is built around a keen understanding of movement science, breath, and body awareness. Practitioners are led through an empowering, artistic flow that leaves them feeling centered, calmed, and energized. She also specializes in yoga for individuals with movement disorders and chronic pain. Dani received her 200 hour yoga certification with Paul Toliuszis at Green Monkey in Miami Beach and 20 hour Trauma Informed certification with Jafar Alexander and United We Om. She holds an MA in Applied Exercise Physiology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
